It has come to our attention that some members have been using barbed hooks, these are NOT allowed to be used under any circumstances. Failure to comply with club rules may result in your membership being revoked. Spotchecks will be carried out regularly.
Welcome to the Ockley Angling Society Website
Ockley Angling Society is a friendly fishing club based in Ockley, Surrey.
We have two sites, one located close to Ockley train station, called Heathcockhams, and the other
site Weavers Pond is located on Ockley village green, just off the A29.
The Heathcockhams site has 2 lakes, the New Lake being the largest, 32 pegs holding a good head of carp up to double figures, along with plenty of silver fish. The Island Lake 17 pegs holds a mixture of Roach, Rudd, Tench, Bream, Perch and Crucians with double figure match and pleasure weights easy to attain.
Weavers Lake holds a mixed bag of fish, you never know what will take your hook bait next !
Our Membership is a mix of pleasure and match anglers of all ages. Regular home and away matches
are held throughout the season.
